Program Description

The Program included:

  • Two keynote addresses, one on 'The WHY and HOW of student practical investigation' by Brian McKittrick, highly respected teacher, Physics Education researcher and author, and a second on 'Uncertain principles: Is the Heisenberg principle really about uncertainty?' by Dr Russell Anderson, Quantum Physicist from the School of Physics and Astronomy at Monash University,
  • Report by Andrew Hansen, the Chief Assessor, on the 2016 Physics Exam (repeated),
  • VCAA Update and Unit 4 Poster presentation and Assessment by Maria James, Science Curriculum Manager, VCAA,
  • Four sessions of over 50 workshops in the day and late afternoon program,
