This section of the website has a range of events for Students and Teachers.

They include:
- PHSCON 2026 The Conference will be held on Friday, 20th February.
- Girls in Physics Events which is a series of Breakfasts held around Victoria for students in Year 10 to 12 where they share a table with women with a career in physics or engineering. There is also a speaker who talks about her research. The session finishes for careers-based activities.
- Just-In-Time is a series of online sessions after school on a Thursday in which two teachers tall about and demonstrate their teaching plan for the week ten days on.
- Out-of-Field PD for Science Teachers is a program for Year 7 – 10 Science teachers who wish to improve their skills in teaching physics topics. There is a PD on offer for each of four topics, and the formats vary from full day to online after school.
- Physics Days at Luna Park is a full day excursion for Year 12 physics students that is offered in the first week in March. Worksheets for each of the rides can be downloaded.
- Beginning Physics Teacher Support has information about an in-service held in the first term holidays each year plus advice and resources.
- Talk, Dinner and Catching up are evening events for teachers to network over a meal and her a speaker on an interesting topic.
- There is a range of student competitions.
Monthly Meetings of the Vicphysics Teachers’ Network
The Committee meetings are now hybrid, online and in person at Melbourne Girls College in Richmond, normally on the second Wednesday of the month from 5:30pm until 7:00pm. The meetings are open to any physics teacher. If you would like to attend any meeting, please email VicPhysics. Those attending in person go to dinner afterwards at the nearby Bridge Hotel.
VCE Revision Lecture
