Call for Sessions
Share your expertise. Inspire your colleagues. Drive the future of physics education.
Vic Physics, in collaboration with the Science Teachers’ Association of Victoria (STAV) and supported by Swinburne University of Technology, invites you to contribute a workshop to PHYSCON 2027 – Driving the Future of Physics Education, our annual hybrid conference for secondary school physics teachers.
We are looking for engaging workshops that share ideas, innovative approaches, practical strategies, classroom experiences, and emerging developments in physics and physics education. If you have an inspiring investigation, a new approach to teaching a challenging concept, strategies that help students tackle physics problems and think like physicists, insights into emerging technologies or an idea that will spark curiosity and deepen understanding, we want to hear from you.
Workshops are 50 minutes, including questions, with flexibility to present in a laboratory, tutorial room or lecture theatre. Where possible, workshops will also be live streamed to our online audience.
Your knowledge, experience and ideas are what make PHYSCON a valuable professional learning experience for physics teachers.
The conference is on Friday, 19th February, 2027 at the Hawthorn campus of Swinburne University.
