Previous Conferences

The Vicphysics Teachers’ Network Inc. organises an annual Physics Teachers Conference and occasional in-services of specific Areas of Study. Check Forthcoming events for details.

These are the links to webpages for conference over the last fifteen years. Each page has a description of the program, in most instances the program can be downloaded and in many instances there are presentations that can be downloaded or accessed.

Online teaching and Learning

When schools were closed due to COVID, teachers taught their classes online. Vicphysics put together some resources to assist them. They are available on this webpage.

Data Analysis

Data Analysis has long been one of the Assessment Tasks of VCE Physics. Initially the task focussed just on the extraction of information from experimental data. The current revised Study Design has substantially broadened the task, so the previous examples, as provided on this webpage, are no longer acceptable, but they could be the basis for a legitimate task. Check out details on the current study design here.

Texts, Prac and problem books

This webpage is a comprehensive set of text books, prac books, problem books, reference books and sources of context articles. However some sections are not up to date.

Old Curriculum Papers

The webpage has a collection of discussion papers on physics curricula from recent decades.
