The 2021 event has been cancelled due to COVID restrictions. Scheduling the event in 2022 is being considered.

For: Teachers of Years 9 – 10 Science
Purpose Hands on practical activities for physics aspects of the Years 9 – 10 Curriculum, supported by experienced physics teachers.
The activities are drawn from resources on the Vicphysics website for Years 9 – 10. The participants will also construct and keep their own DC motor.
Program: Two one hour sessions with 15 min coffee break.

  • Activities on Forces and Motion
  • Activities on Electric Circuits and Construction of a DC motor

Cost: $80.

The sessions will be conducted by Dan O’Keeffe, Barbara McKinnon, Gary Cohen and Peter Furlong from the Vicphysics Teachers’ Network.
